Terms & Conditions

These terms govern access to and use of Young County Released Inmates. By browsing, searching, or otherwise using the site, you agree to follow them. If you do not accept every condition, discontinue use of the site.

Young County Released Inmates is privately owned and has no affiliation with Young County, any sheriff, jail, court, corrections department, or government body. Neither this site nor its advertising partners offers credit, employment, insurance, tenant-screening, or other FCRA-covered services. The site is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency. It only helps visitors locate Young County and Texas jail or inmate-record resources.

Nature of the Website

This is a private reference site. It does not store official jail rosters, release records, court files, TDCJ records, or federal custody records. It cannot confirm a person’s status, authorize or complete a release, file a court document, submit a public-information request for a visitor, or change any government record.

The content points readers toward Young County offices, Texas agencies, federal locators, notification systems, and third-party research tools. Requests for a sheriff booking/release sheet are governed by the Texas Public Information Act, Government Code Chapter 552, and must be directed to the agency that maintains the record. These terms do not alter an agency’s duties or a requester’s rights under that law.

Acceptable Use Rules

You agree to use this site and any information reached through it responsibly. You must not:

  • Use the site in violation of federal, Texas, or local law.
  • Use information to stalk, threaten, intimidate, or harass another person.
  • Use content for hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or another regulated eligibility decision.
  • Attempt to enter accounts, servers, or restricted areas without authorization.
  • Run automated bots, scrapers, or harvesting tools against the site.
  • Interfere with site operation or another visitor’s ability to use it.

No Consumer Reports

Young County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not prepare or provide background checks, credit reports, consumer reports, or screening services. Its advertising and search partners do not provide an FCRA-covered service through this site. You agree that neither site content nor information obtained through a linked tool will be used for an FCRA-regulated purpose.

  • Decisions to hire, retain, promote, discipline, or dismiss a worker.
  • Tenant selection, housing approval, or lease decisions.
  • Creditworthiness, lending terms, or insurance pricing and eligibility.
  • Licensing, permits, or eligibility for a government benefit or program.
  • Any other decision regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Links Operated by Others

The site links to Young County offices, TDCJ, parole and probation information, release-notification services, BOP, ICE, legal information, and outside search providers. A link does not mean we endorse the operator, its content, or a particular result. We do not control an outside site’s accuracy, privacy practices, pricing, terms, or availability. Review that operator’s current rules before submitting information or paying for a service.

Service Provided As Is

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we make no warranty that:

  • Any record, address, phone number, date, or status is complete, accurate, or current.
  • The site will remain available without interruption.
  • The site will be free from errors, defects, or security weaknesses.
  • A partner search will return every relevant record or a correct identity match.

Custody, release, transfer, and supervision data can change quickly. Young County’s online product is a current jail list, not a historical released-inmate archive, and TDCJ’s web search covers current incarceration only. Nothing published here is an official statement from the sheriff, a court, TDCJ, or another government agency.

Limits of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Young County Released Inmates and its owners, operators, contributors, and service providers will not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from access to, inability to use, or reliance on this site or a linked service.

Your Duty to Indemnify

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Young County Released Inmates and its owners, operators, contributors, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and reasonable legal fees arising from your use of the site, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights.

Ownership of Site Materials

Unless otherwise stated, the original text, graphics, logos, layout, and code on this site belong to Young County Released Inmates or the applicable content partner. You may not reproduce, distribute, republish, modify, sell, or exploit those materials without prior written permission from the rights holder.

Revisions to These Terms

We may revise these terms at any time. Updated terms take effect when they are posted on this page. Continued use after a revision means you accept the version then in effect.

Suspension or Loss of Access

We may limit, suspend, or terminate access to all or part of the site at any time, for any reason, and without advance notice. This right includes action taken to protect visitors, systems, content, or legal interests.

Texas Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute concerning these terms or use of the site must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Texas.

If One Term Is Invalid

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. The affected provision will be narrowed or adjusted only to the extent needed to make it enforceable where the law permits.
